]]> Comment on Motorcycle Lemon Law by Shane Woods http://www.lemonbike.com/2008/06/motorcycle-lemon-law/comment-page-1/#comment-98 Shane Woods Thu, 22 Jul 2010 23:19:49 +0000 http://www.lemonbike.com/?p=1#comment-98 Good Evening, 2.5 years ago I purchased a 2004 Big Dog Mastiff Motorcycle,At time of purchase the M/C only had 863 miles on Bike.I am currently the 3rd owner of the bike and it has to date 2,765 miles.Since purchase of the bike I have had repeated problems with the bike.I have taken the bike to Big Dog dealerships for starting and performance issues.I have also taken it to now (3) reputable repairs centers.I have had the bike serviced as owners manual suggested.To date I have replace all carb jets,Full ignition system,charging sytem,plugs,etc.The bike is currently at AGAIN another BigDog M/C dealership.Basically Chasing a ghost.I have spent several Thousand Dollars just trying to keep my bike reliable and safe to ride and enjoy!!!Total Frustration.I am suppose to contact the home office on the 29th of July to see what the factory is willing to do to assist me in these issues.I definitly have a "LEMON IN MY POSESSION...." Any help would be great!!! Good Evening,

Unfortunately that specific model is not included in the recall, but we suggest that you get it to your dealer ASAP and make sure you document the problem. If the problem continues, motorcycles are covered by the lemon law in Texas, but it requires 4 repair attempts for the same problem, or 30 days out of service under warranty.
